Does it also have battery life improvements? And is it recommended todo a hard reset after updating to preview or such?

I have noticed a slight battery performance increase on my Icon, results will vary on each device. Many people suggest doing a hard reset after updating to the preview, but personally I say there's no need unless you are having issues. I have 6 family members I put on the preview without resetting and their phones are working like a dream.

i was on dp 8.1 and gdr 1...I downgraded to windows 8 then to official 8.1 and then to grd 1 ..as its been only 2 days...battery life is ok...I get around 15 hrs of decent use...I guesss one the phone settles down and battery cycle...battery life shld be great...

Well I have a 521, in use it'll last like 5 hours, so anything over that is awesome. xD
