How can I get my Nokia Lumia 1020 to power on?

Nokia Lumia 1020 unable to power on

My phone was working fine when all of a sudden it just froze upon receiving a whatsapp message. I tried to hard reset it by holding the volume down and power button together. after the phone restarted the screen went completely black and the phone was unable to power on again. I tried using Nokia Software Recovery Tools but the phone is unable to even be detected by my PC. Do i have to send this phone to Nokia Care centre for servicing?

If it is to be serviced, yes. Try plugging the phone up to the wall charger it came with for a few minutes then trying the button combination again while still plugged in.

Try soft reset. If that doesn't work, when you connect it to your PC and Nokia recovery tool comes up and tries to detect it there is an option "my device won't turn on". Good luck.
