Why am I unable to download and update apps on Windows mobile?

Unable to download and update apps on windows mobile

Downloading stops and it says attention required tap here and nothing happens on tapping.
Some update links like that of whattsapp route to its homepage where it says that page cant be displayed.

OS messed up? Why don't you do a full reset?
