Windows says Dirty Volume

So I'm trying to save my movie on Movie Maker, and I can't. It stops at 86%, and it shuts off my computer, and it turns back on again, freezes, and then shuts off again. I have to restart it. 86% every time! Also, I can't transfer any documents because of "Dirty volume". What is that? I've cleared off my disk drive, and I've also tried accessing the Command prompt screen, but no dice. I need help... And fast.

I've had problems with Movie Maker hanging on me too. Where are you trying to save it to? I was trying to go directly to YouTube, and it would hang about half of the time. Now I save to my desktop first, then upload it later. Takes longer, but it works every time.
