Should I buy a 925 or a 630-5?

Hi guys,

I may upgrade to cricket wireless (Leaving Ptel) and I am thinking about getting a new phone. I don't really wan't to deal with my old 521 due to it's slow performance (IDK, why it has gotten so slow) and weak/so-so camera. I am either going to get the free 630-5 or buy a no contract 925 on the ebay market.

What should I get? I know the 925 is an awesome previous flagship, but I am worried that the updates will stop coming since it is already an old phone. Ideas?

I would go for the 925, beats the 63x in every way and should still get the windows 10 update? Maybe wait a few days and see if any more is said about windows 10 and it's requirements?

If there is only two option, obviously 925, 630 is lack of a lot of sensors, camera flash, etc. But 925 does not support memory card.
If you have extra budget, and want more powerfull chipset, 730/735 is good choices.

I'll 2nd the suggestion posted by Aziz. If you are able the 730/735 would be a very good choice. As xandros posted, yes the 925 is superior but you're wanting some decent space for pictures you'll have the sd card option on the 730/735. The camera on the 730/735 is very good also. I own the 735 and it's an excellent device.

Is there a 32 gb version of the phone? I actually want some decent space for pictures.

There is a, I believe, Vodafone exclusive variant of the 925 that is available in 32 GB, but for the rest of the world, the 920 or even the 928 (Verizon-exclusive, slightly improved over the 920, but tied to VZW for updates and tethering/MMS may not work) may be a better choice since 32 GB is default.

I'd definitely get an ATT 920 if you could.
Personally, its a better tradeoff for me than the 925.

The 928 has the lack of MMS, tethering and I think LTE, but it'll work otherwise. Might need a setting flipped or not.

As for that rare 32 GB 925, if you can track one down, and you can get it unlocked, it'll work. The question, like the 928, becomes "how well?" and I'm not sure about that.
