Unable to play Video

I have nokia lumia 520, since few days I am unable to play video. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible
I also checked my video player configuration..it seems some file is missing

Have you tried resetting the phone? Can you give us more info about the problem?
If the problem is in a specific app, say Xbox video, try reinstalling the app.

I had the same problem and it was due to the wrong class of SD card. It did'nt even seem to matter where I stored videos (phone or SD) as long as I had the class 4 SD card in the phone. I replaced the class 4 32gb pny card with a class 10 32gb Sandisk card and all is wonderful. Many thanks to the other members here that answered my questions

"Video codec in this file is not supported in Windows Phone OS" this message flashes when I try to play any video (mp4 format).
Xbox app is also missing from my phone and when I try to download it from store It will get aborted in midway although my WiFi connection is working properly
Please help me !!
