What are normal CPU temperatures?

Normal CPU Tempatures

The CPU Temp of my laptop and desktop are far from each other.

when getting my desktop out of sleep it's 9 degrees celcius. When under pressure max 30 degrees.

when getting my laptop out of sleep it's 20 degrees celcius. when under pressure 85 degrees.

Are these normal tempatures?

No. That laptop is getting too hot and not cooling enough.

I know because of the close fit inside the case, heat dissipation is more difficult with a laptop, but 85*c (185*F) just sound like it's the danger zone for your CPU.

You might want to have that laptop looked at.

<edit> Are you overclocked? If yes, you need to back that down...

I think I check if there is any cool paste left on the cores.+ checking the fan.


Overcloaking: Yes It cloaks itself over. But just when necessary. (max 200 MHz)
