Is the current build for windows 10 safe to download?

[Windows Central Question]

I want to download the current tech build preview for windows 10 on my main os.
My PC Specs are:

Toshiba Satellite radius 2 in 1
Intel Celeron 2.16GHz
Intel HD Graphics
4g Ram
360G harddrive
Windows 8.1

By my impressions, this build is running smooth in my pc, but reading around, there is some issues with the tablet mode.
The apps are running well, and I haven't blue screens since then, but some W7 softwares maybe crash(even in compatibility mode).
In resuming, it is safe to go.
