GRUB Error: No such partition

I have a faulty Hard Drive in which a windows install usually lasts 1-2 days before BSODing until it's unasable. My friend borrowed me his hard drive so I can try and recover mine, but when I try to install windows on it I get "GRUB: Error No such partition"
I know he used to use Linux on it, but I don't want Linux, and as a matter of fact can't actually download a Linux .iso to burn to my Flash drive (I also don't wanna loose my flash drive, since last time I tried burning 10162 to it and because of my faulty hard drive, it didn't worked and I was left without options)
What I have is: A hard drive that briefly works to try and repair it. A windows 10 RTM flash drive and this disk.
The error occurs when Windows reboots and tries to resume the installation on the drive.
Help! What do I do? All the answers I found require Ubuntu or use the hard drive to recover Ubuntu, but I formatted it, so no access to whatever was on it making Linux work.
