After using the add-on wushowhide.diagcab to Hide/Show Windows Updates (after silly fiasco with incorrect d/l of graphics driver from MSFT) I believe the entire Windows Update is broken beyond repair. I have tried built in Troubleshooter and DISM to no effect. Event logs clearly show updates are found but nothing is being downloaded or installed now.
I would like to be able to re-install the Windows Update Client but so far cannot find this for Windows 10.
Is it out yet, can it be reinstalled/repaired without having to refresh/reset/reinstall OS?
Remember W10 is a desktop OS - not a phone - so I don't want to have to completely re-install the OS (and all my programs/applications) everytime their is another MSFT bug/defect.
