I used Movie Maker on my Win 7 laptop and used to put all files on a network drive before making the movie. Now with Windows 10 i get the error that files ant be accessed from a network location and need to put them on my PC. This defeats the purpose of me having a network drive (so i dont clog my laptop). How do i get around this?

Are you logged into Windows 10 on this PC as the system administrator? I haven't had any issues accessing network locations/drives with Windows 10 Pro on my machine.

When you start the Movie Maker program next time, try right clicking on it and "run as administrator" and see what happens.
