Lumia 520 stuck on cogs when starting up and volume down button broken!!!

See I know the solution yet i cannot follow the steps to hard reset or a soft reset because it always requires volume down button and mine does not work!!!my warranty is off as well!!
So can anyone give me a valid solution as to how i can fast reboot my lumia 520 without a volume down button!!!!
Please i am desperate!!!

try if Windows Phone Recovery Tool recognizes your phone, than reinstall latest OS
but that will erase all your data from the phone
