I am rapidly losing interest in my Windows phone due to the amount of unwanted (all of them) ads when web browsing. Some web sites are virtually unusable.
I note that IOS9 has introduced Ad blocking. I intend to check that out on my wife's iPhone and if it works then I will be almost certainly moving to Apple for my next phone - which is a pity because I by far prefer WP.
I note that some are proposing that Ad blocking is unfair due to the impact on the Advertisers revenue. Well tough on them. If they were to produce decent Ads worth watching instead of crippling the web site then perhaps they have a role - till then they are basically spam

I am exactly the same as you buddy. Love my windows phone but I will move to Brand X (probably Apple) if ad blocking is not available. Advertisements and brazen privacy invasions have ruined the Internet. Better to use a simple flip phone than to waste money on a device rendered useless by sewage.
