I ask When MS will add these two most essential features. Lacking these killing me. When I download something then it hurts me. I can't survive without it. I love Windows but love for Downloading is much more than Former.

I can't speak for downloading at 2G, as I do all my downloading using LTE. However, I've been testing out the latest Windows 10 for Mobile preview, and I can say that multitasking and being able to download in the background has finally arrived. I'm actually able to even download maps in the background, which is something that always frustrated me before.

There are still a lot of issues with Windows 10 for Mobile preview at this point, and I'm having to reboot several times per day, as well as it is still eating battery life. But things are definitely heading in the right direction finally.

In India most of users use 2g and download in background never works. I think windowsPhone can't be popular in developing country like India until they add most demanded features. In near future I will certainly leave windows.
