All the wp users use lumia camera im sure. Being such an awesome camera app, its rating and the reviews on the store is pretty bad.
I've come across many reviews saying the images fade away after processing.

Well its not a problem at all. Because the fix is in the camera settings. Open the Lumia camera > go to settings > Go to photos section > Turn living images off

That's all!

Living image is actually used for making animated images , something like a .gif image but it can sometimes affect the picture quality

I like your nickname, it really makes sense now :D
Living images doesn't affect inage processing, image is processed as usually, and live images are captured unprocessed. That's why you see difference between animated and not animated parts.

That's because of the difference between unprocesed animation and processed still image.
Go capture one live image and one non live under same conditions. Turn off live images reproduction in Lumia Camera amd look at both pics from Lumia. camera app, you'll see no difference.

For reducing of fading, try playing with settings, reduce exposure, ISO or shutter time.

Which phone do you use?
