Windows Central Question

I know I might get a lot of criticism, but I have actually grown to like windows 8.1.

Anyway I just noticed that a terminology in one of the frequent windows 10 upgrade reminders suggested that it would only be free for a short time. And I am wondering exactly when that is.

I am hesitant to upgrade because I dont want to risk having issues that cause me not to be able to access important software's, or the computer entirely for long periods of time. Especially I don't want a lot of my programs to get broken in windows 10.

How long can I wait before it is no longer free?

Maybe. They don't use the Julian calendar after all. They use the Microsoft Calender. I would hedge my bet and consider July 22 the last safe day as the Friday before the anniversary. :winktongue:

I think you could be right, at least they will pressure people from that Friday with people on 7/8.1. Wouldn't like those notifications lol.
