Why is EMET preventing OneNote 2016 from opening?

One day after updating my computer, I found that I could no longer open OneNote 2016 and the error message "EMET detected Caller mitigation and will close the application OneNote.exe." After some exploring, I found that opening the EMET application and unchecking the box 'ROP caller check' for OneNote2016 fixed this problem for me. Is OneNote 2016 imcompatible with 'ROP caller check' or is there some malware of which I should be aware?

Emet beta is available for win 10 and hopefully your issue will be solved.
