Windows Central Question

I had windows 8 and somehow have windows 10, probably hit the upgrade button by mistake..... why do I have to log in with a password? why is my gmail log in page the first thing I see? where is the browser that had a HOME option? I do not like his format.
If I go back to Windows 8, do I need to type in Microsoft password?
I'm not sure if I have it.

You can turn on the Home button in the settings: ... / Settings / Advanced / Show Home

You can turn off the password: Start/Settings/Accounts/Sign-in Options/Never Require Signin

For your browser home page instead of gmail, select .../Settings/Open With and then select "Start page" or "A specific page" that you want.
