Problem downloading the Messenger (non-beta) app for Windows Mobile 10

The messenger app for windows 10 mobile (non-beta) keeps downloading beyond the file size i.e 76 mb approx . I once left it as is it went to 100.7mb and downloading then i cancelled it. please help

As of the last week, Messenger and Messenger (beta) open, hang on an empty screen, then close. Upon un and re-install, it works - once. Then, back to non-functionality. On fast ring.

This is an issue that only the developers can solve. Other apps have not been giving these kind of issues.
