Your yahoo account require attention?

I changed my password; my Microsoft phone requested for the new password, after punching the password instead of synchronising my mail, the message that my yahoo account requires attention kept appearing. What do I do to have mail sync on my phone.

1) Log into your yahoo mail via a browser, you may need to accept changes to the TOS (terms of service) or read a Public Service Announcment (PSA)

2) If you have a pin enabled on your phone, remove and readd it this should prompt you to enter your pin when you click on manage on your yahoo account and should force a re-sync.

Welcome to Windows Central.

You just need to create an App Password from your Yahoo! profile. Follow the following steps:

1. On a desktop computer, sign in to Yahoo Mail.
2. Mouse over your name.
3. Click Account Info.
4. Click Account security.
5. Click Generate app password or Manage app passwords.
6. Select your app from the drop down menu and click Generate.
7. Follow the instructions below the password.
8. Click Done.
