I have a windows virtual machine since many years, i bought a windows 8 licensee and than upgrade to windows 10 in the free period.
I used Parallels for many years but each year they ask for an upgrade and the license is just for one machine, on mac side almost all software can be installed on all personal machines or at least on 2 of them.
So I download and try VMWare Fusion, that can import parallels virtual machines.
After importing the virtual machine windows 10 was deactivated.
Now I use windows 10 only for test purpose and few other things, I try to enroll on windows preview on the slow ring but the windows unregister copy is still there.
would it make any difference to be enrolled on developer version?
what happen if i don't activate the virtual machine?
I could also download the VM offer from MS for test propose, it says that they may need to be reset after 90 days but with a windows 7 VM never happened.
