Adoptable storage on Surface Book 2?

Hi,

On some Android phone devices, I can add a SD Card and make it adoptable storage, so the device only sees one drive and doesn't make the distinction between the internal or SD storage.

Can the same be done on a Surface Book 2?

In essence, I'm wondering if after buying a 256GB SB2, it will be easy to buy a 256GB+ SD Card to "expand" my storage and install apps on it.

Storage Spaces is similar but I don't think it works with SD cards. The SB2 supports SD so to answer your second question, yes, you can easily expand storage, whether it's SD or with an external USB drive.

You can insert an SD card and set it to work as another hard drive in Windows if that is what you mean?
