Has anyone successfully used the DUO2 with Android Auto in their car?

I have tried using Android Auto by connecting the DUO2 to a USB cables (tried several cables including the one that came in the DUO2's box). I have also used other devices on Android Auto in the same car successfully. And I have tried to DUO2 in other cars with Android Auto with no luck. What shows up is a black screen on the car's console. My Galaxy S21 and a few other phones I tried work just fine. Any help?
