Why doesn't my MS Band 2 get notifications?

Why MS band2 does not get notifications?

My MS Band2 does not get e mail and twitter notifications unless i reboot both the phone and the band, a few hour later it stops receiving notifications again,it seems to me that the MS Band 2 is a good piece of hardware but the MS health app is a total failrure that is why the band most of the time is useless

It's either bugs or the app isn't connecting right to the other apps on your phone. All the app does from what I gather and understand is it either gets the info directly from the servers or gets info from the app on your phone. So you might have to have the app running in the background to get notifications like you would texts since it is getting messages from your phone. Either way it might be a bug or server communication that's going bad.
