Problems with messenger on Band2

My Band2 gives me this "chat heads active, start a conversation" notification every time I interact with messenger on my paired device (Samsung Edge6) For instance, if I close out a conversation, or someone sends me a new message. I get both the "chat heads active, start a conversation" AND the actual message. Very annoying. I tried turning off messenger notifications on my phone but I no longer get any message alerts. Ideas?

Sorry if I haven't understood the problem correctly, but as an alternative to the Messenger tile, do you have an option to put the Android Notification/Action center tile on like you can on Windows?

In Windows you can filter this down to only show alerts from specific apps, so you could just show messenger in there.

When you add the Facebook Messenger tile on the Band it only gives notifications anyway, so although it won't have a dedicated tile it should send Messenger notifications to your Band at least,
