Invoke keeps disconnecting...

So, I just got the Invoke and there have been some issues that are just ruining the experience for me.

1) After a night's sleep of not doing anything with the speaker, it refuses to do anything when I prompt it by saying "Hey, Cortana..."

2) The speaker/Cortana itself keeps bugging out -
For example, the volume dial bugs out and won't respond, Cortana herself won't respond at times randomly and the only fix I have for these issues is rebooting it and I have to do this very often.

Does anyone else have the same issues or have a fix??

This doesn't happen to me frequently, but I have noticed the speaker is hard of hearing when my wife says things versus when I say it. Have not had issues with the volume dial but Spotify does have moments where it does not play what was requested.

I can tell that they have been tweaking things though because I do not have near as many random activations caused by the TV or general conversations.
