Cortana - does she actually learn anything

I've had Cortana on my L1520 since last November. I try to use her but she seems to be getting worse. She struggles to understand my London Accent so rarely understands my questions correctly or finds the correct stuff on the web. She always suggests routes to and from work that are so totally outside my actual route using transport that I never use, always suggesting I either go on transport I haven't got tickets for (and much slower, prone to delays) or via ridiculous locations miles out of my way.

I really want to use her but she isn't making this relationship easy. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way of setting her up better?

Probably you need to have a look on Cortana's notebook, and select all interest based on your requirement. Also, keep the GPS on always (if it is disabled). I use Cortana (US) in India, and although its not for my country, it still track everything, suggest cool places etc. I have Lumia 1520 with Denim.
