    Hi guys

No disrespect intended, I have no doubt that developing apps from scratch is a task that requires skill and patience.

My question though is how difficult is it to learn. I have some ideas for fairly basic apps and seeing the new $19 developer deal I'm wondering if this is something I could realistically learn. Im not a coder but have developed websites back in the day but beyond that have limited experience.

I am a recent dev convert to Windows phones. I can say the documentation on msdn is stellar. Everything is covered very well, if you know basic computer programing and a some html/xml you will find it easier. I suggest you download the Sdk first and go,through tutorials which are completely free. If you are comfortable and like it you have until Aug 27 for the offer. Moreover you can always pop in here into dev corner and we might be able to help you.

Cheers. Just realised I can get free dev membership via dreamspark so may give it a go. Nothing ventured nothing gained!
