Help! Confused about app purchase transfer

Hi everyone,

Apparently there is no way to transfer my app purchases from my old MS account to my recently created MS account. and a windows phone representative told me that switching gamertags wont transfer apps bcuz the apps are tied to the MS account not the gamertag.

come on this is for old times. you can no longer do it this way.

Hmmm.

First take an alias to your email@live.com account, lets say email2@outlook.com. Then you make the email2@outlook.com the primary email for the account, this means all logins etc will be asking this address. Also it means you have to hard reset your WP device, this time on the first boot you put email2@outlook.com address as the main account. After all this, you can delete email@live.com address if you want, leaving you with a new email account email2@outlook.com with ALL purchases etc...

No, there is no way to transfer app purchases between two accounts. Why did you use a new account? Why did you not want to keep using your old one?
