    1. Love the UI. I like android but find Windows more appealing and more easy to use.
    2. Have a Nokia Lumia 1520 and find the 6" screen gorgeous. I know that there are "better" screens, but for my purpose and use I find it great!!!
    3. Having a WP these days is like having something very exclusive. Every time I pull out my 1520 there's someone asking about it. In a world full of android users, android have become boring, so it feels nice having something "old" but very different from what other people have.
    3. Even though my 1520 is "old", in comparison with some new phones.....I don't have nothing to envy!!!
    4. Live Tile, Live Tiles, Live Tiles.....They are way much better looking than a boring, lifeless android home screen!!!......
.....So sad that soon I will be using another boring android phone. I will be one more of "The Same"!!!

I use a Lumia 950 as my "daily driver" - it's an excellent phone. Everything I need just works - no fuss and the UI is still the best out there. I've only just (as in last month) had reason to think about moving away from Windows Phone - I needed to install WeChat... and it's a no-go on Windows phone! I will keep using my 950 as long as possible.

We have 3 Lumia Icon's as daily drivers because we are on Verizon. We were looking forward to upgrading to the HP Elite x3 until Satya Nadella created this train wreck in the Windows ecosystem ... because, "he didn't see a NEED for a third ecosystem"!!! That's just fine for him as he made over $100 million as CEO ... but, how, about us,loyal Microsoft users and all of the hard earned $$$ we spent buying these phones???

We tried both iPhone and Android and simply nit as good ... waiting for Andomeda/WoA or the FIRST OLED folding phone???

But, Satya Nadella will probably CANCEL that as well!

I know of at least a dozen other WP users similarly disgusted with Microsoft ... very poor leadership by Microsoft.

Still keep my 950XL as a backup and travel phone, the camera is excellent. My daily phone is a cheap Android phone which I have turned to look and feel similar to the WM10 look. I will upgrade and completely transition to another Android phone with a high quality camera when I can do a dual screen continuum RDP arrangement on an Android phone.

I'll try to use an android phone as a daily basis, and hate it, some times just don't do what i want or need and always have to be worry about malware and atacks, 3 for week is to much, so i turn back to windows with a new lumia 950, and is great stable, nice camera and with edge don't miss a lot of apps, and most of all still virus free, and looks different from every one's phone around

As far as I am concerned window 10 mobile is far superior to apple and android. I use the 950xl for personal use and an HP Elite x3 for work, the hp goes 3 days on one charge. No way apple or android can do that. It's said that people don't care how insecure the android platform is or how over priced apple is.

Since i broke my Lumia 950 i pretty much tried every phone oit there including pixel 2, LG G6 and apple X. I dont like android at all and uos is goo boring. So after days is looking bought a mint condition 950 again dn my $900 pixel 2 is in the drawer.
Pixel 2 is a nixe phone. And everything works. But i miss windows UI and simplicity. Plus the 950 camera it's still the best of all.

So for the time being im sticking with 950 despite all the nuances.

Using an Elite X3. It froze and died this week. Huge disaster, I use it for home and work via dual-sim and rely on it for data on work commute. I ordered a dual-sim Sony Xperia from amazon next-day, as backup whilst I attempted to contact HP. Online insisted on a serial number, but phone was dead. It took me 3 hours of finding a UK helpline, kept on-hold, passed from department to department. Finally, when I got the right dept, to cut long story short they shipped an advance replacement.

Now next day, the Xperia turned up, so desperate to check for text and vms for last 24Hrs, put the sis in, etc. For the next 3hrs it was an absolute nightmare, making a simple call seemed to take more clumsy button presses, poking at tiny buttons to do anything, I couldn't find how to check voicemail, and every time it bleeped at me, I could never work out why, just rows of tiny alert icons swipe down and was buried in alerts and messages, having to scroll. The phone itself was nice, reminded me of the classic Lumia 920 though not as weighty, but how Android has been so embraced versus the simplicity and usability of Windows mobile, will always suck. I mean rows of tiny static icons are so unuseful.

Thankfully the replacement X3 arrived 3 hours later and sanity was restored. I do appreciate that android can be no doubt configured better than the defaults I used, but from having an inkling that I might switch to android as soon as a phone I really liked was released this year, thus limited experience convinces me I will hold on as long as I can.

950xl daily driver and a much loathed IPhone 6s for work.

I've been thinking of moving to android but the security concerns and generally slow and unreliable updates have kept me from pulling the trigger.

MS has updated my 950xl faster than Apple has gotten to my iPhone. My friends with android are still waiting on security patches that seem to never come.

Yes, I am still using my 950XL. And tbh, it's the worst phone I have ever owned, considering how amazing the 1520 was. My experience has been spoiled either by the phone itself (mainly) or by Windows 10 Mobile. There have been countless times when the phone restarted on its own, display turned black with the phone was still on and became a burning charcoal if I didn't notice. Windows 10 Mobile does not have a lot of apps, especially a Nova Scotia app, which affects my experience yes but I still love the OS regardless. I wanted to switch to an Android (maybe Nokia 8/9 or a Huawei flagship) but every time I see how ugly and unintuitive Android is, I immediately have a second thought. Also, thinking about my Android phone would become obsolete in 6 months in terms of OS update is not what I can stand. iPhones are always too expensive and generally not worth the money either. The SE is still about 500 CAD, which is ridiculous. iOS itself is also extremely boring. So, I hate my 950XL to bits, but I simply can't find any better alternative atm. That's why I'm still clinging to my 950XL.
We have two 950xl's in the house, both awesome, both trouble free.

In our house we have 5 Windows Mobile phones - I use mostly the X3, 950xl, 950, 640xl, and my wife uses her 950xl although her main driver now is the iPhone X. I also have a Moto 5S Plus Android phone that I use for two apps. It's a very good mid-range phone, but it's Android! I use those apps twice a week at most. Everything else is done with WM. I've tried the iPhone X and it's super boring, heavy, screen too small, and well, it's iOS, what more can I say. My mother in law uses the 650 and 950, and loves them.
I guess I must be one of the crazy ones, but if that means using the best operating system, then I'm fine with that tag. Good luck to Android peeps. By the way, my wife has a business that needs a lot of photography, and she still uses her 950xl fir many shots over the iPhone X because IT'S JUST BETTER!

I use my Lumia 950 as a secondary/work phone. I still love the camera, so when I'm not shooting video with my LG V30, I take photos with my Lumia. I also keep all my music on my Lumia because I actually still enjoy Groove Music, and since I don't think battery technology is improving enough to keep all my eggs in one basket, I like to keep certain tasks separated between my devices.

I still use a Lumia 650 and love every second of use. I would say the main part of the addition is just that, Win10 mobile is just addicting. The simplicity, cohesiveness and just the ease of getting anything done is just hard to resist. I use an Android as a filler but have not found the need to move the sim to it. My daily grinder is stil a Windows phone and I do not think that will change anytime soon. WIN10 Has seen a lot of improvements but few will see them as most dont use it anymore. There are still some rough edges but the good makes up for the few bad parts. Seriously, the app gap is a problem but not too much for mw to fully let go.

Still use my Elite x3 and plan on repairing my 950 this year to use the wallet outdoors.

Why? Email, text, phone, and internet work fine as i have dialed back on apps to spend more time with my family, playing games, and making music. Found that the more apps I had, the less connected I felt with things that mattered.

I don't understand the whole need for a newer phone unless your phone is just full of issues. Also its laughable that the announcement of no further development for W10M is supposed to be the signal to stop using or buying. A company i was at bought 50+ Windows 6.5 mobile devices for their couriers and warehouse. The software for it is less than 5 years old and still getting updated. Just because development does not continue by Microsoft does not mean use for devices or functionality is all of a sudden gone. It's laughable to tell people with working devices to move on or to switch platforms with there are still devices available that people can use.

Ultimately I'm note user. But. I wanted device with great camera, with OS and body from one brand, also something cheap. With phones going 999 in price, camera resolution going to 12mp(as easiest but bad solution for better quality), iphone&pixels recording mono, there wasn't much to choose from.

Yes, there are apps I use on old android phone, but thats all. Main device is Lumia. I also came to like system, being able to send feedbacks, to give ideas, contribute, be part of community.

Just one thing what made me want to buy that phone... haac mics performance unmatched even today, it wasnt dead OS, but ultimately made me like new W10. Hopefully can microsoft bring same kind of unique tech in new devices, which others cannot get close to, kind of overtech...

950xl... Dual sims for US and Taiwan, replaceable battery, beautiful screen, thin and light, dedicated camera button, and all the apps i need to use as a daily driver. Paired with my fenix 5x and a sp4, not missing anything. Better build quality than previous 1520 though that was a piece of art. Have a brand new 650 dual sim 650 as a fall back.

Still using 950s here. Only just recently are there phones with cameras as good. No reason to switch. I don't need the fad apps people use. I refuse to say OK Google. I don't like Apple jail. Might as well wait for the new MS device and then make decision whether to buy that or switch to Android. By then at least Alexa and/or Cortana might be even better on Android.

Kind of just waiting for the next big thing. I think most new flagship Android phones are so similar, but they also all seem to have one glaring flaw. Between screen burn in, bad camera software, bad fingerprint scanner placement, dim screens, etc...I can't seem to find the perfect one.

I'm still using my lumia 640, that I upgraded to the lastest w10 build a few months ago. Aside from my constant issues of needed reboots and low storage warnings that I can't seem to shake, I still can't switch, even though I bought a Moto g4 plus as a back up when it finally dies. I have about 4 games that if course can't be transferred to Android which I've guess is the main reason I'm holding on. Games are Royal revolt 2 level 79, Disney magic kingdoms, Sims Freeplay level 41, and township level 49. I play them constantly and would hate to lose my progress.
