X3 - Finger scanner suddenly stops working

Hello,
I have several X3 to configure and output to users.
On two X3 (Win10 Mobile - Build 10.0.15254.124 - Version 1709) I have the following problem.
The finger scanner stops responding. After installation and updates, everything worked well. After several days of use, the scanner suddenly stops working. A reboot does not help. Does anyone have a helpful hint?

sounds like it might be a hardware issue... is it still under warranty?

Hi
I've configured 40 pieces of X3 in our company,
20 I have finished.
with 4 devices an error occurred on the finger scanner.
With 2 immediately, with 2 devices in the course of a week.

All devices still have warranty, but is the quality of the devices so bad? Or is there a bugfix?
