Random Sounds

For some reason, today, my phone has been "dinging" at me.
My first inclination was that I had a game notification, or something.
I looked at my start screen and not a notification could be found.
It's actually getting a little annoying.
I've heard it, maybe, 10-15 times in the past few hours.
Is anyone else noticing this?

Do you use Facebook app or similar ? It may be a message from one of those, they send toast and if you are not quick you may not see the actual message at the top of the screen. another one that seems to remove the message quick is BBC News. Take a look at the background tasks (START>SYSTEM>APPLICATIONS) and see what is running in the background.
I have suggested elsewhere it would be handy to have an app that stores the toast messages centrally so its easy to check for any that have been missed.

I don't use either of those programs.
The only ones that are allowed are engadget, HTC, nextgen reader, and tv shows.
That's only for the live tiles (if that's not necessary, I can disable those, too).
I don't think it's toast, though, as it's happened while holding.
The only, logical, thing that I can think is that it might have to do with a low battery.
The phone had died and I had it connected to my PC (but for a couple hours, at that point).
Plus, there were now low battery popups.

I think it is, definitely, a low battery issue.
My battery was down and I just plugged it into my computer.
It showed Windows Phone in Windows Explorer, made a sound, and Windows Phone disappeared.
It wasn't making sounds and now it's making a bunch of them.

My 8x plays the Email Notification sound at seemingly random times, many times per day. I wish I could figure out why it keeps doing that because it's quite annoying!
