Streaming video?

My husband just streamed a video from his iPhone to our internet-enabled Samsung TV. I'm a huge fan of Windows Phones and really hate it when he can do something that I can't. Someone suggested to me that HTC's Connected Media might do the trick, but when I try to get it for the HTC 8X I'm told that it uses features my phone doesn't have. Is there any way to stream media from my phone to my TV, or are we waiting for an app?

For the Lumia 900 its called Play to! But they say it could be possibly out in first quarter of 2013 for the 920

So funny, I just switched from the 900. Never had the desire to stream to my TV until I saw that my husband could do it. ;-)

What about AV Remote?
I can watch/listen to things from my XBMC computer on my phone.
I think I can watch/listen to things from my phone on my XBMC computer.
I don't have any DLNA equipment, so I can't test a TV, but it might work.

How about MyMediaHub?
The description says...
You can consume content locally on your phone or push it to a remote DLNA media renderer (e.g. your TV).

Thanks so much for the suggestions. I'm going to try both AV Remote and MyMediaHub and I'll let you know how it goes.

As if right now, there is NO dlna app that utilizes the phone as the player. You are able to push content from a PC to your tv. A dlna app os in the works for Lumias. HTC hasn't updated the app for 8X's resolution.
