Hey guys,

Ive ran into a few bugs. I want to see if anyone else experienced these so i can tell if its just a bug or a phone problem

the only thing ive had happen:

- when battery went low, all the phones memory disappeared (apps, contacts, accounts)
- I had the phone in my pocket, it some how got shut off ( could have been my accidently pressing/holding the power button) and when i turned it one, the phones memory was once again, gone...when i did a battery pull, everything return and the phone went back to normal.

anyone have this happen before? Not sure if its the surround, or a wp7 bug, or my phone has a hardware problem.

Thanks
Marc

that's really strange, I haven't seen that yet. I know my battery got really low last night, but I had full functionality and I haven't had my info disappear at all. Will keep a look out for this though.

Looks like some of our neighbors over at the focus forum have experienced the same thing so looks like it might be an uncommon OS bug.

which means there is a good chance itll be fixed

My battery lasts (with normal use) a good day and a half maybe more. If i use the phone a lot (netflix, games) then i get a day out of it. (a day for me is 8am - 7:30 pm before it goes on the charger. note: I always have battery left, Ive never actually had the phone die on me)

and as for the bugs, once I swapped out my phone for a new one, I never had that bug or a random shut off again.

Has anyone had the phone get stuck on the lockscreen? Specifically when I get up in the morning it sometimes won't unlock. I've only had it happen about 2 times. I have to reboot b/c the lockscreen just won't budge.

sometimes in the morning itll stutter a bit, i think there might be some standby mode when the phone is idle for a white which is why it stutters, but i just press the unlock button twice and its fully usable, never had to reboot

Thanks! I'll try that if it happens again.

Okay, new issues this morning.

1. My phone was on ring but would only vibrate, for both calls and alarms. I thought I'd read this is a known issue, is that right?
2. Then before resetting the phone, I went into the Zune hub and started a song. Not only was no sound coming out (with volume at 30) but it wouldn't let be pause the so
song either. I could press the button and it would flash but nothing.

Taking out the battery and resetting solved them but its still a tad troubling. Wondering if I should return before my 30 days is up and get a new one.

Okay, I'm starting to get a little frustrated with my phone. Seems like I'm having to reboot every other day b/c something doesn't work. It's either the Marketplace won't open, Zune won't open, songs will say they're playing but the phone produces no sound, or alarms vibrate when the phone is on ring. Also, I haven't found anything to solve the issue of I have a few apps that say they have updates, but when I go to update them they say downloading then quickly switch to installing and dissapear from the queue. But they don't update, they pop right back up in the "Updates" section, over and over.

I love my phone, but I've never had to reboot a phone so much. Should I try to get a replacement under the HTC warranty or insurance? Or am I stuck till a future update hopefully fixes any of the issues? Thanks.

I'm not going to recommend against an exchange, but the Marketplace woes are happening to all WP7 phones.
