I have this sneaking suspicion that phones running Snapdragon S4 and older will be left out in the cold when it comes to Windows 10. If they do get Windows 10, they'll probably be lacking in most new features when compared to those running Snapdragon 200/400/600/800 series processors. That said...

This is such an important point that I hope consumers are getting. I myself am extremely tempted at times to pick up a cheap, Atom-powered, non-RT Windows tablet. The fact is that at bottom of the barrel price points, the storage just isn't there.

Does anyone else wish MSFT would come up with an Atom powered Surface? For me, $500 is too much for an Windows RT tablet, $1000 is too much for a Windows 8 tablet. If I could get "real" Windows, Surface hardware, pen input, with a $600-$700 price point, I'd bite.

Based on those photos and IMHO, I remain envious of the 920... and I find the HTC One to be more than disappointing. S4 looks good, but not superior to the 920, iPhone 5, or Xperia Z. Maybe with more complex conditions we would see a more definitive winner.

It won't be different in terms of performance or exclusive software, it's essentially a 920 in a thinner, aluminum body. I'm guessing it will have slightly poorer camera performance on account of the thinner body and OIS being partly hardware dependent. Camera flash will be better, but people...
