Every single laptop/tablet sold should come with Windows 10 S as default. Agree?

Only a Sith deals in absolutes! You have a point. One more big reason to use Windows 10 S by default is performance. For those more casual PC users (web browsing, online shopping, facebooking, Office'ing folk), Windows 10 S delivers everything you need and is faster and more secure than...

Comparison of Surface Pro i7 with iPad pro A9X

"faster" being the operative word. It would be nice to know what processes he was using as a benchmark, but it's probably true. For most people in comparable cross-platform tasks (web browsing, document opening/editing) the difference in speed is probably negligible in terms of loading/rendering...

Weight difference between M3 version and i5/i7, could it mean fanless?

I'm guessing a slightly smaller, lighter momboard for an m3.

    Surface Pro 4 specs rumours

I have a feeling they will axe the Core i3 model now that the Surface 3 is available with Cherry Trail. Likewise, that would negate the need for a Core M. Gotta keep it differentiated.

    Surface Atom?

I'm just going to take credit for Surface 3, if you don't mind ;)

    Hating on Core M

Ah, yes. Power sipping. Even so, this usually translates into a slimmer design rather than a boost in battery life.

    Hating on Core M

I think OEMs are freaking when it comes to how they design and price devices with Core M processors. IMHO, Core M should be in mid-range 2-in-1 devices and/or tablets. $700-$800 for modest performance and sleek design. The only Core M devices I've seen announced (I assume there are others that...

Why I came back to Lumia 1020?

I have this sneaking suspicion that phones running Snapdragon S4 and older will be left out in the cold when it comes to Windows 10. If they do get Windows 10, they'll probably be lacking in most new features when compared to those running Snapdragon 200/400/600/800 series processors. That said...

    6.25GB free on 32Gb Miix 2

This is such an important point that I hope consumers are getting. I myself am extremely tempted at times to pick up a cheap, Atom-powered, non-RT Windows tablet. The fact is that at bottom of the barrel price points, the storage just isn't there.

    Surface Atom?

Holy crack... this + Type Cover 2 and I might be set.

    Surface Atom?

Does anyone else wish MSFT would come up with an Atom powered Surface? For me, $500 is too much for an Windows RT tablet, $1000 is too much for a Windows 8 tablet. If I could get "real" Windows, Surface hardware, pen input, with a $600-$700 price point, I'd bite.

Galaxy S4 Camera Dominates the competition.

Based on those photos and IMHO, I remain envious of the 920... and I find the HTC One to be more than disappointing. S4 looks good, but not superior to the 920, iPhone 5, or Xperia Z. Maybe with more complex conditions we would see a more definitive winner.

    928 vs 920

It won't be different in terms of performance or exclusive software, it's essentially a 920 in a thinner, aluminum body. I'm guessing it will have slightly poorer camera performance on account of the thinner body and OIS being partly hardware dependent. Camera flash will be better, but people...

    Your faith in WP8

I'm on team BB10, but that could certainly change if WP8 comes out with a decisive edge. In the darkest regions of my soul, I'd like to see Microsoft swallow up BBRY and come out with a WP/BB ultra-productivity-sex-phone. That said, I think people are crazy if they aren't at least considering...
