It's weird - the messaging app on my pc has restored all my sms/mms up to the date when I performed the factory reset on my phone. All messages after that are on my phone only. It's as though the phone not only cannot restore from the server, but it's also unable to upload to it.

Clever me did a reset thinking it will fix the magnitude of issues I'm having, then I too notices sms/mms are not restoring ...

I haven't had motion data working for a while - MS Health is installed, but Lumia Motion Data (under settings) says that I don't have any apps that use motion data. On the other hand, "Motion Data" lists MS Health, but it hasn't recorded anything for months ...

I've just jumped on the latest insider build (finally !), and it seems that the photo app no longer launched for me. Tapping on the app (whether via the live tile, or from the app list) merely clears the current screen, and then does nothing. I can actually swipe left/right to get to the start...

Hi. I have a Lumia 720 here that has suddenly started registering screen taps as long presses, making the phone unusable. Has anyone else experienced such an issue ? Let me know if you need more info. Ta.

I have this issue too - it mainly occurs when I use an app that requires lots of scrolling, mainly tweetium. Have just disabled the background image, and will see how it goes.

Super double check - it seems only photos created by the camera are grouped correctly. Photos placed there by third party apps (such as 6tag) are lumped in that single bucket.

Minor update - the photos have sorted themselves out, but all my videos have been created on the 10th of October still...

I have the exact same issue (I'm on the dev preview). Issue persists after a soft reset, and do not want to do a hard reset (if every PC problem was solved with a "format, re-install", the world would be up in arms !). I've posted something on the Microsoft forums too : here
