Should I sell my Band 1 for money toward Band 2?

I did purchase a $99 Band1 and guess what, this one tracks my heart rate during exercise very well. It is almost exactly in step with my monitor I wear at my rehab sessions. Now I can use my old one for trade in if I want a Band 2.

Does the workout works with gps now?

With the workout should be able to say Run 1 mile, rest 2 minutes and repeat this. I also wonder how that will work without GPS.

Should I sell my Band 1 for money toward Band 2?

Tempted to buy a new Band 1 for $99 and then wait for Band 3. Maybe HR would work better on a different one for me.

Part exchanging original band for new one

I think we need someone to test out that possibility. :)

Part exchanging original band for new one

Not offered at this time. Microsoft Stores will give you store credit for any old device you take in so you might get something that way. Has anyone tried this with an old band??

    Dashboard Update

Running and walking are in there for me. I didn't look for biking but it might be there. Use the search at the top and you would find them. I added the workout I am allowed to do right now and it is downloaded to my Band now.

    Dashboard Update

I will wait and see if the heart rate monitor works better for the Band 2 but the update to the dashboard takes care of one of my issues. The Workout Planner - Build a Workout is exactly what I wanted to be able to put in interval workouts to download to the Band. You can chose each inter by...

What's the single most frustrating thing about the Microsoft Band for you?

Yes Matt I have the band in Exercise mode while I am at the rehab center. The apps do smooth it out a little but there are still crazy peaks that I know are not happening. Oh yeah and the calories burned calculations are pretty bad too. 450 calories to walk 2 miles at an easy pace. I wish...

What's the single most frustrating thing about the Microsoft Band for you?

Late to this but heart rate tracking during exercise. It is not even close for me. I am in cardio rehab so hooked up to monitors with nurses watching every second. Monitors read 100 and I look at the Band and it might be 105, might be 130, might be 150. Sometimes it will synch in and track...

Band receives new Update this morning

That would be nice. I probably get those 1 out of 3 runs and I always walk a few minutes after my run and never take the band off until at least 10 minutes after a run.

    Band and TaylorMade Golf?

It is not available yet as far as I can see. The Firmware update this morning had nothing new so I think it is a wait and see when it arrives.

I received the update this morning. Wish they had the Golf Tile included but no such luck.

    Software Update??

No update to the Band Firmware since mid April and nothing to the apps since late April. Anyone have a rumor of when and what we will see for the next update??

Heart Rate Extremely Inaccurate, Microsoft Says Band is Entry-Level Device

Ha I was thinking about shaving my lower arm. :) I am getting happier with the HRM portion. It still freaks out most runs at the start. I am warming up, 12+ minute miles and goes up to 170. Not a true indication of my heart rate. But if I ignore it, then when I am done warming up I stop...

Heart Rate Extremely Inaccurate, Microsoft Says Band is Entry-Level Device

I am trying to do some heart rate based training where I run without letting my heart rate get above a certain level. So far a couple of weeks in it is not very successful. The heart rate on the band seems to fluctuate greatly and often is far higher than my actual heart rate. I have tested...
