Did you go into the Nvidia control panel applet and set it to default to the Invidia video card? It defaults to the Intel video card and will cause that issue. This is a very common issue. Doing this will also help the memory issue.

You also need to go into the control panel, choose the Invidia icon, and then make sure that it is set to default to the display card. The way the system works there are two display cards in it. One to run the tablet when it is undocked and then the dGPU. It will default to the lesser of the cards.

There should be a keyboard icon down in the system tray. If not, right click the taskbar and check "show touch keyboard button."

I had the same issues when I had them hooked up mini display to HDMI. I switched the cables to mini display to display port and the issues went away.
