I am really trying hard to find a good email client that can use BOTH gmail and windows live calendars. Outlook can, but it sucks and is slow and doesn't have a unified inbox. What does everyone use?

Seriously, it ****ing sucks, and the "show full version" link never works for me either. I can't get anything done and unfortunately sometimes Bing just isn't as good. Infuriating.

I feel for the OP and I definitely think Windows Phone is crippled when it comes to email attachments (and it's Microsoft's fault for not allowing you to browse to files, not Adobe's). I don't know what kind of company this is, but their security policy is probably in place to prevent a)...

I don't think so... it's instantaneous. I check the email, press the trash can icon, and it disappears and instantly reappears as though nothing happened.

I've had this problem with multiple phones and multiple versions of the OS... very often (maybe 50% of the time), when I delete an email, it doesn't delete but disappears for an instant and then immediately reappears. What gives? This happens with a custom IMAP email server, gmail, and hotmail.

Is this not what the "Show artist when playing music" toggle is for in Settings, Lock+Wallpaper?

Custom IMAP accounts can't be set to "as items arrive." The smallest increment is every 15 minutes.

That defeats the purpose of a "reply" and it's helpful to have prior emails in the body as context...

Can you post the versions of everything under settings/about/more info? And sorry... I meant to follow up on this thread. I couldn't get anywhere with my testing. The new phone works for no apparent reason, and I couldn't get the old one working with Mango and the radio update (any version).

"Automatic" doesn't appear to do anything (I never noticed the screen brightness actually change, on 4 different phones).. it just looks to be "medium-low."

Keep in mind that many people have work Blackberries in addition to their personal phones, so RIM doesn't necessarily compete directly with Android/WP/iPhone as much as you might think.

The Trophy has what feels like flimsy plastic, which is why I use a screen protector. Mostly because I know that if I get even the tiniest scratch, it will drive me crazy until my next upgrade. I can't stand imperfections on the screen but can always replace a screen protector if I need to!
