I finally relented and and exchanged my book. It fixed my battery life and most issues with the exception of the camera and track-pad. I would have to respectfully disagree. Normally you only hear from a very small fraction of users who have problems. Between this and other forums and MS actually admitting to the many issues, one one could reasonably conclude that there is indeed a high failure rate. (personal experience aside)
