Yes 10122 is a bit buggy but better than the previous know. Warning: don't try to directly install Windows 10, you want to upgrade from Windows 8.1 to keep all the drivers (WiFi, touchscreen, etc)

Correct, anybody can purchase Microsoft Complete from the Microsoft site. Then if you have an issue, you can either bring it back to a store, and ask for a replacement to be shipped to you and then you will ship back yours in the same package (and shipping is prepaid).

Quick question, I noticed the light on the USB charger cable (next to the connector). Is it supposed to change color? Mine is always white.

If it says "Intel HD Graphics", then you have the update driver (10.18.15.4204). It's not perfect, but it's better than the previous generic driver. Do you have any other device showing errors in Device Manager?
