Windows 10 on Surface 3

Is it a mess because there still isn't a stable build that runs on the Surface 3? Or is it a mess because 10 is a step backwards from 8.1 for touch devices?

I was hoping to get 10 for my Surface 3 as soon as it is released, but I am a little concerned that I may end up liking 8.1 better for how I intend to use the Surface 3 (as a tablet 90% of the time).

I feel the same way. I am loving the touch interface of 8.1 on the Surface 3 and I am nervous about what we might lose in 10.

both. a lot of stuff is unstable including the signin screen. but I don't like the removal of the charms and especially not the removal of thumbnail placehodlers for files in OneDrive.

Love the current Win10 build on my S3! If 10074 is this good, I can't wait for 10136 which I expect will be the next released to the SP3 and Fast ringers!

Hello guys, I want to install Windows 10 on my Surface 3. I seriously cant stand Windows 8.1 after having Windows 10 on my main PC for a couple of months. I heard the latest build does not install on the S3, build 10130, I have the build 10074 ISO file in my stored, can I install that build? Is it still working? Also, if something goes wrong with the install, how can I go back to Windows 8.1?

Thanks!
