Actually, it does. Montior has it own power and continuum works more stable if I put my phone into flight mode. If I swith on WiFi - display sometimes crushes. Moreover it works both with external monitor and usb dongle to my wireless keyboard & mouse. Here is my adpater:

as well as I concerned, openconnect was made as replacement for anyconnect. I successfully tried to connect to Cisco servers via openconnect, maybe it works vice versa. Are openvpn and openconnect the same thing?

There is an Cisco AnyConnect app in market for W10M which allows to connect on vpn via default ms setting option choosing Cisco protocol.

I tried soft-reset on lumia 830 and it helps. My build is 10536.1004. To perform that just press and hold for 10 seconds both down and power buttons, after 10 secs phone will vibrate for a while and reboot. Then try install/update again.
