using phone charger for charging

I am wondering if anyone has tried using an old phone charger for charging their Band 2? I think it would be easier than having to plug it into a computer usb port. Also will this void the warranty? Just a thought.

Powered USB ports include those on your computer and those on USB hubs or adapters that connect to a power source. Most USB hubs don’t supply power and won’t charge your Band

That's the way I have charged my Band and Band 2 from when I first got them. I only plug them in to a computer if an update came out or I was changing the background.

I use an old Blackberry Bold charger, and sometimes an e-cig charger, haven't had any problems with them. No idea about the warranty.

I'm using the AC charger that came with my Lumia 930 to charge the Band 2. No problem whatsoever.

Hmmm....I guess since I am a male I never read the instructions. I have NEVER plugged mine into my computer. I thought they were just being cheap not including an adapter with the charging cable! Have I missed something not ever having plugged it in the computer???
