Why am I unable to see my old pictures and phone crashing frequently?

Unable to see my old pictures and phone crashing frequently.

Last week i updated one of the app of my lumia 640XL at that time my external memory was shown 6.5GB free. after Updating that app it shown only 1.17 Gb Free. and after updating my phone crashing frequently and unable to open pictures as well as downloaded and saved pictures.

if you are running out of space the only option is to get a larger SDCard and move stuff from the device to the SDCard. Backup what is on your SDCard to the PC, restore the backup to the newly formatted SDCard and then put it into your phone. Move some larger apps to the SDCard with the Storage app until you get at least 1.5Gb on the device.

If you in fact maxed out a 64Gb or even 128Gb SDCard then it's time to move media permanently off of the SDCard to the PC to get space back.
