Lumia 950 Messaging App Resuming.. what can I do?

Lumia 950 Messaging App "Resuming..."

I've been using WM since the Samsung Focus and, after switching to an iPhone for two weeks after my WM M8 died (two weeks before the 950 was released...ugh) knew we had a superior platform still. That said, the one thing that drives me the craziest is the Messaging app. It frequently gives me a "Resuming..." message that just sits there. I know WM10 has some things that still need fixed and such, but something like the SMS app is really kind of inexcusable. It did this on my M8 too when I was running preview builds, but I figured that's because the M8 was god awful.

Anyone have any suggestions? I did do a restore from backup so maybe that's part of it, but still. It doesn't make sense.

1520 upgraded to WP 10, 950XL no problem on that

I haven't had that issue on my 950, so I can't say for sure, but maybe a soft reset after your phone has fully loaded/update and become stable if you just got it.
