Outlook Connector crashes Outlook 2010

Is anyone else having trouble with Outlook Connector crashing Outlook 2010? I have Win7 64-bit and Office 2010 32-bit. I have installed and uninstalled (and renamed .mapi associated files) at least four time. Every time I re-install Outlook Connector, it works for a while (a few days or a few hours) and then it crashes Outlook. I can't get Outlook to open again unless I remove the Hotmail mapi account. When I do that, it Outlook opens fine. Really frustrating as I want to use Connector and it works well when it works.

Have you got an AV package that has an Outlook plugin? Some of these do not play nicely with the Outlook Connector.

No, I'm using Microsoft Security suite. I guess I could try disabling that.

In that case there's unlikely to be an issue with AV.
Have you removed the .ost file associated with the Hotmail account?
What other plugins do you have installed in Outlook?

I have Adobe PDf and Sync2, to sync to Google. I am going to disable Sync 2 for a while and re-enable Outlook Connector and see what happens.

Sync2 is a MAPI client, so that would probably be a source of problems....

Your original question about other add-ins made me look at Sync2 and since I turned that off, my Outlook has been doing good, so thanks. I'm really close to migrating everything to Outlook.com.
