Why has my touch screen stopped responding?

Touch screen - Not repsponding

Hi all,

My Surface 2 RT touch screen has just stopped working.

The surface crashed and after i had rebooted it was not working.

The screen will auto rotate and the windows logo button on the screen responds to touch..

any ideas on how i can get it working again.

I have tried the refresh and and remove recovery options but no joy.

I have had a couple of times where the screen has just stopped responding, no crash though. In my case just doing a soft reset with the buttons got it right back up an running just fine. Don't know if your problem might be different though.

There are other threads here where people think it may be the July update, you might want to do some digging around...
