I spend 1k on building a gaming computer that I don't even game on anymore.
All I do is surf the net. I am wanting to sell my P.C. for a Surface 3. I know the Surface RT does not support Java. Tell this point I could not afford a Surface Pro, and did not want a surface that dose the same thing as my phone dose.

Does the Surface 3 support Java and I can do everything on the Surface I can do now on my P.C.?

It is running the full version if Windows 8.1, so you can install Java and any other programs that run on Windows.
The Surface 3 will not perform as well as your gaming PC due to hardware limitations but mine is running all of the "normal" Windows programs with no problems.

Thank you, Royal. I know my computer has better hardware. I feel like if all I'm going to do is surf the net the Surface would be just fine. Its mobile as well and if I want to game I can play Halo.

Heck, it probably has the horsepower to play Halo 2.
