Touchscreen unresponsive on waking up

So I did the above updates and was good for a while but it started back up again.

Getting kinda frustrating. I'm close to doing a full reset.

I was having the same issue and it appears to be that my screen protector was causing it. The next time it happens, try removing the protector and see if the screen starts working again.

Does anyone figure out how to solve this? I am encountering the same problem on a newly purchased Surface Go 8/128.

Did the replacement resolve the issue permanently? I am thinking of exchanging my unit as well.
